Phil Wickham Receives Songwriter of the Year Award
We want to say a big congratulations to Phil Wickham who was just awarded Songwriter of the Year at BMI’s Christian Awards!
Phil says that this award was never even on his radar, but since songwriting is truly one of his greatest passions, to receive this award was very special to him.
Now, pretty much all of the great songs you hear on our countdown each week are a collaboration, which means it is several songwriters coming to write in a room together.
But, you may not realize that some of our favorite songs written recently – Phil was a part of those writing teams!
