Natalie Grant Performs at Tennessee Prayer Service
This week was the annual Tennessee Prayer Service held at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry where more than 200 state officials and faith leaders gathered for messages of hope and reflection on the past year and moving forward. The event is hosted each year by the Citizens’ Committee which is a volunteer group of Christian business leaders, elected officials and ministry leaders in the community.
During the event, Natalie Grant and her husband, Bernie Herms, performed some of her hit songs including, “King of the World” and “Praise You in This Storm.”
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee shared this message of encouragement during the service, “It’s been an incredibly difficult season for us. Great loss of life, great loss of income, great loss of components of our society. Isolation, disruption, devastation for many. It has been a trial for certain, but people of faith know that suffering, in fact, produces perseverance, which produces character, which produces hope.”
