Michael W. Smith Goes Back In Time With New Acting Role

We’ve been a fan of his music for many years and he has built a foundation in Christian Music, but did you know that Michael W. Smith is an actor too!? He’s had a few gigs in the past and he has just signed on for a role that takes us back in history.

There is a new television series in production right now called “Washington’s Armor” that’s slated to be a 6-part series set in Colonial America, 20 years prior to the revolutionary war. The plot is based in a time of political turmoil where George Washington gets an opportunity to prove his military capability, eventually leading him on a journey to become the first president of the United States of America.

When the director announced that they were going to have a very Important actor on set last week, it was none other than Christian music legend, Michael W. Smith! We can’t wait to watch! Check out the VIP reveal of him as a castmate below:
