MercyMe Performing a Unique Show on Amelia Island

Just when you thought you have heard of all of the really creative ideas for socially distant concerts: backyard concerts, drive-in theatre concerts and of course watch from home live streams, we have a brand new, very creative one for you!

Bart Millard, lead singer of the band, MercyMe shared that the band hasn’t done a show since March of 2020 and they are ready to be back on the road in a safe way, of course. They have been given the opportunity to partner with another struggling industry, the hotel industry, to do a live show at The Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island in Florida for a socially distance night where they’ll play a live concert near the pool, where each hotel room balcony becomes the guests’ own private concert suite! What do you call that? A Show’tel, of course!
