Former Sanctus Real Lead Singer Announces Documentary of Son
Former Sanctus Real lead singer, Matt Hammitt, announced that the documentary of his son, Bowen, was just released. Bowen’s Heart, which has been in production since 2019, follows his son, who at nine years old, underwent his third open heart surgery due to being born with a hole in his heart.
Matt shares that in 2010, when his son, Bowen, was born with a life-threatening heart defect, his story was featured on network television and radio. Because of that, so many wonderful people reached out with prayers and support.
Matt says that his family found so much hope in knowing they were not alone. They want to now share Bowen’s full journey of redemption and trusting that God is good even when things are hard.
