Colton Dixon Welcomes Twins But The Arrival Didn’t Go According To Plan

On August 18, Colton Dixon’s wife, Annie, gave birth to identical twin girls but they quickly realized something was wrong.

Athens Elizabeth arrived into the world gracefully, but they weren’t as lucky with Ava Dior. “We never expected our little Ava Dior would arrive in the world without a pulse. In that moment, we had a choice: faith or fear,” says Colton. “We watched and prayed as the doctors and nurses resuscitated our daughter back to life.”
