Christian Artists Bring Ministry to Florida Inmates

Many of us know what a blessing it is to attend a worship service on Sunday mornings in our churches. But for inmates in a Florida Prison, the opportunity to worship the Lord came directly to them this week with a few special guests!

A group of your favorite artists joined together through a ministry called, God Behind Bars. Maverick City Music, Brandon Lake, Naomi Raine, Chandler Moore, Dante Bowe, and several others led a worship service for more than 1,300 inmates – the largest prison event in Florida history!

God is working in powerful ways and using the inmates to change their prison, their families, and even the prison staff.

One thing you may not know, is through the power of technology, 20 The Countdown Magazine is actually heard within the prison walls every week as well. We have a large group of inmates that listen and are encouraged by our ministry and the encouraging music here on the countdown. It’s always such a blessing to receive letters from them and hear how much this show has meant to them. God is so good!
