Cece Winans and Maverick City Music Win Big at GRAMMY Awards

If you missed the GRAMMY awards last weekend we have all the news you need to know! Maverick City Music had an incredible night as they performed their song “Jireh” from the rooftop of the MGM Grand Hotel and they took home their very first GRAMMY award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for “Old Church Basement” with Elevation Worship.

Maverick City Music had a great night, but one of our favorites, Cece Winans had the most special night! Already considered the best-selling female gospel artist of all time, she added three more GRAMMY Awards to her collection – Best Gospel Song, Best Contemporary Christian Song, and Best Gospel Album!

Cece is the most decorated female gospel recording artist and is now tied with Alicia Keys and Adele for all female music artists as they each have 15 GRAMMY awards! She shared with her fellow nominees in Christian music, ”Let’s just keep building the kingdom!”

Congratulations to Cece and Maverick City Music on an incredible, historical night!
