Brandon Lake and CeCe Winans Part of American Idol’s “Songs of Faith” Easter Episode
For the first time in American Idol’s 23 year history, Easter night 2025 was a special three-hour “Songs of Faith” episode!
Each of the contestants sang a song that was meaningful for them and so many chose Christian, Gospel or worship music.
CeCe Winans was invited as a guest to perform her new song “Come Jesus Come” , and Brandon Lake performed his hit single “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with country star Jelly Roll.
All three judges — Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie —performed faith-based songs as well! But it was Carrie who made the night as she ended the show with “How Great Thou Art!”
