Blessing Offor Starts New Non-Profit
Blessing Offor just went home to Nigeria to see his family for the first time in 25 years! When he was just 5 years old, his school in Nigeria told his parents they would not be able to teach him since he could not see the board. So, he moved with his uncle to America for the chance at an education.
Because of this experience, Blessing has started the non-profit, The Offor Mercy Fund, which will provide basic tools for visually impaired children in Nigeria. Things like books in braille, walking canes, and magnifying glasses. Blessing knows first hand that these simple items can change a child’s life.
