We The Kingdom Shares about Prayer and Thanksgiving on Tour
Scott from We the Kingdom shared a post on social media this week that we thought was worth sharing with you!
He shared that as members of a band it is easy to fall into a life craving accolades and success. But, the two things that have helped them the most this year to change that is PRAYER and THANKSGIVING.
Close friends to the band encouraged them to never miss a time of prayer before a show, because “ministry without prayer is the ultimate form of vanity.”
So this year, they have intentionally gathered on the bus each night before the show and spent time as a band getting lost before the Lord. Scott says, “sometimes we sing; sometimes we pray out loud; and sometimes we just sit there and listen, and this has totally transformed us.”
