The Bible says that “the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16), to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), to “not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6), and that “if we ask anything according to His will He hears us” (1 John 5:14).
The Bible also says much more about prayer, but the truth is that prayer IS powerful.
Prayer is an act of faith. Prayer is connecting with our Heavenly Father, the Creator of the universe. Prayer can move mountains, soften hearts, change minds, and bring healing. And something truly amazing? God wants to hear from you – how cool is that!?
