The 2024 Nominees for This Year’s Dove Awards
As the host of this year’s Dove Awards, Tauren Wells got to announce which artists are nominated, but he found a creative way to do it! He picked up the phone to Facetime and share the fun news!
Naomi Raine was in the middle of writing songs when Tauren called to tell her that she is nominated for five awards!
She and CeCe Winans are the leading females with five nominations each! And Anne Wilson is just behind them with four nominations!
Chris Brown and Chandler Moore have each been nominated for ten awards.
But it was the face time to Brandon Lake that Tauren shared this record breaking news…Listen to this!
That is crazy! Sixteen nominations! So many of those nominations were for songs that Brandon had a part in writing. He is an incredible songwriter, which makes sense that he was also nominated for Songwriter of the Year!
